Term 3, Week One: Icebreaking Exercise

For our first exercise we were asked to make a 3d self portrait. For this exercise I decided to make something less obvious, something more abstract. The artist I looked up is Paul Klee. He was a German artist and he created in his individual style. He is known for his simple stick figures, moon faces and eyes.

The works I looked on was:

Characters in yellow, Paul Klee, 1937

When I look at this artwork I see here different parts of body. Thanks to this I had an idea to create my 3d portrait by putting different parts of face in different positions but it still have to look like face when you look at it.

Senecio, Paul Klee, 1922

  2. Looking through your posts, did you actually make this piece and post it? I can't see it on here.
