Major Project: Logo

 For my Art Portfolio 2 Project I decided to create a brand for imaginary tea shop. One of the most important element for brand identity is logo. My project is inspired by a Japanese culture, however it is creating to show up on European market. For my tea shop "Ryu Tea" I decided to create minimalistic logo that will connect both dragon ("Ryu") and something related to tea. I made sketches based on my brainstorming but I forgot to keep them. However the journey through designing logo wasn't easy. 

My first idea was to create logo based on my brand character, however I decided later that it is nothing like minimalistic. I researched also things like: tea cup, wings, dragon fruit and typography logo. After hours of sketching I decided to use tea pot as reference although I was sceptic about this idea at the begging. However it tour out very good in my opinion ant it is the best logo that I created so far. 

Logo is designed in black in white, but it could be used in different colours (I will present my colour pallet in different post).
