Primary Research: Analysis

In this post I would like to present my results from primary research that I carried out. For my primary research I use quantitative research method. For collecting data I used online questionary as a helping tool. Here I want review the answers and add my commentary to it.

My very first questions was only informative to create the view and understanding of what my target is. In my survey participate majority of males and people in age 18-25.

The next questions was about living and status of living.  It creates demographic view of what costumers I will have in the future.

Next questions was important for me to know what is thinking about other cultures and will other costumers be interesting in my product. I was happy when I saw that 81,3% would be interesting to learn about Japanese culture and 46,9% of participates prefer tea than coffee.

Also, because I was influenced by Japanese Tea Ceremony and I would like to include this to my brand as well, I was positively surprise that that people who do not know what tea ceremony is would be intresting to explore this topic more. This answers was beneficial to me to know if people would be interested to my product.

The next beneficial thing for me to know is how people would like to spend time in this kind of places and how much do they spend time there. From my questionnaire I now know that most of the future costumers looking for places where they can chill and rest or they can quickly stop during running through their lives quickly.

Very important questions was about if anyone have ever had experience with my idea of brand. And surprisingly for me majority of participants didn’t have any experience. That’s mean that that could be good idea to open this kind of place in Europe.

Last two questions was informative. What people expect for places like this or would they be interesting to experience this .

  1. This is good well directed research and you had some interesting results. The last answer is rather disappointing. It would be good to see more commentary reflecting on the answers you received and how you think it could affect your project.
