Further research & the direction of my project

 On today's classes we ere asked to order our thoughts and think of on what  stage we are in our projects. 

Introduction:

My project is to create a brand (including four 2D outcomes and one 3D outcome) for the imaginary Tea Room/Tea Shop. Theme of my project is: Oriental Surprise. Explore the art of the Orient both traditions and contemporary. That is why I decided my brand to be inspired by Japanese Culture. 

For my project I already wrote a few posts with research. You can find on my blog posts about my first thoughts of what I want to create, the overview of my project, research about: tea ceremony, brand character, packaging and artists related to it, Primary and Secondary Research and research about mockups. 

How has my research, so far, informed my project?

Research that I carried out was generally about Japanese culture. It was important research for me to could understand style that I wanted to design in. 

How useful has my research been?

It was useful, because I research things that I need to understand to move forward with my project. My research helps me with things such as logo design, colour palette, name for the brand and the most important tea flavours and designs. 

What further research will carry out next to build on previous research?

My futher research will about Japanese Tea Rooms and Japanese Shops looks. I will consider my previous research about Japanese culture and Tea Ceremony. I did research about "how places to tea ceremony looks like" but now I want to go further and research more commercial places to could include it in my future banner design and vibe of restaurant. 

How will the further research inform my work?

My further research will helps me to improve my work and develop ideas that I have. I will able to design banner and/or menu of the place, also understanding the European market and Japanese market will helps me to design my brand and details in a way that I can bring the company to the market.
