The Anatomy of..
In this post I want to present the anatomy of typography. On our classes we were asked to draw an image from our area and add labels using a specialist language. I choose to make anatomy of typography. For example I choose to draw name of my tea shop and present labels on it.
- leg - it is portion of a letter that extends downwards, attached at one end free at the other
- arm - straight or curved portion of letter that extends upwards or outwards
- x-haight - it is measurement of all lowercase letters
- serif - short line added at the beginning and the end of strokes
- closed and open counter - is the space in letter
However, it is only part of the whole anatomy of typography
