Planning and Time Management for Reassesment: Art Portfolio One EDITED
In this post I want to plan my future tasks for my reassessment from Art Portfolio One. In this project my idea was to create 6 movie posters in German Expressionism's style. The posters are based on story of my great-grandmother's life.
On todays sessions with Mrs. Caroline Mansfield, we discussed actions that I have to take to improve my mark. I shall be doing the following:
Wednesday 21th July
- attend tutorial
- create planning and time management post
- create research post about 'The Anatomy of a Movie Poster'
-create research post about font design
- sketch one-two works
Thursday 22nd July
- sketch 2-3 more posters
- add posts about sketches
- finish the final outcomes (poster style, colours, shapes, make sure it looks like impressionism)
Friday 23rd July
- improve existing posts
- add final outcomes on website and blog
Saturday 24th July
- design 5th outcome - poster
- write a process post for one of the poster
- create a post about title process
- create a post about experimental with the 4th poster (keep the same colour palette)
- add a post showing all 5 final outcomes + reflection
Sunday 25th July
- make changes on the website
- add additional info to the introduction and move it to be at the beginning
- add description to the images in portfolio- edit previous posts - improve- add a gallery with mockups
- check the grammar and if everything is working (website)
Yes, a clear plan, though maybe giving yourself a time frame for each task might help, this does give a check list which shows planning and forethought for tasks to be completed.
